The 10-year Guarantee

It is on the basis of concern for detail and quality that Ernest Ménard has, for several decades, signed its furniture and guaranteed it for 10 years.  It is confident of the enthusiasm and skills of the company players and is the only French manufacturer to undertake this commitment to cover this duration.

Furniture with the Ernest Ménard signature is guaranteed against hidden defects as provided for in law in accordance with the terms of Articles 1641 and those that follow in the French Civil Code.

Above and beyond this legal guarantee Ernest Ménard signed furniture, apart from chairs, is guaranteed for 10 years in the following manner:

. You must activate this guarantee and the date of the start of the guarantee period is the date of delivery by the retailer.  Activation of this guarantee means that you were satisfied furniture when it was delivered.

. Any claim under the guarantee must be addressed to the retailer from which the furniture was purchased.

. If there is a disagreement about the claim the company, Ernest Ménard, reserves the right to have an independent expert inspect the furniture to judge where the responsibility for the problem encountered lies.
